2025-09-01: Abstract submission and registration opens

2026-03-27: Abstract deadline (late submissions may still be accepted as posters until final registration deadline)

2026-04-03: Acceptance notification

2026-04-10: Registration deadline (early bird)

2026-05-08: Final registration deadline (no late abstracts and no registration after this deadline; important: no on-site registration)

The abstract guidelines and specifications are all included in the abstract templates. We strongly recommend to adhere to the guidelines to assure readability of the abstract on smartphones or other mobile devices. Templates are provided in rich text format, docx format, LaTeX format, and lyx format. A sample abstract shows the expected format of the abstracts.

Abstracts have to be sent as pdf to png2026@ipfdd.de before the deadline. Registration before the registration deadline is mandatory, otherwise, the abstract will be cancelled.

We allow for late abstracts submitted after the abstract deadline. These might be considered as replacements for non-registered or cancelled submissions (up to two weeks ahead of the event). Otherwise, these will be included in the poster session.

Conference fee

As of today, we plan with a conference fee around 300,- € per student (early bird) and a full fee around 400,- € excluding social activities, conference reception, and conference dinner. After the early bird deadline, prizes will increase by about 50,- €. The conference fee includes access to the venue, conference materials, lunch, two coffee breaks per day, and drinks and finger food during the evening poster sessions. The final pricing will be listed here on the 1st of September 2025.

Registration

Registration is possible through our institute's ticket shop after the 1st of September 2025. The corresponding link will appear on this page once registration has started. Options for payment are credit card, bank transfer, and paypal.

What must be purchased by each presenting author is the conference registration fee. It is only possible to buy one conference fee per person and it is required to create an account for payment. Optional items are the conference reception, the conference dinner, and other social activities that can be purchased also for accompanying persons. Optional items can be purchased still after the registration deadline but might be subject to availability. Prizing and still available number of tickets for each category will be indicated in the shop.
