Talks

Format of slides (beamer):  16:9

In each room, there will be a single HDMI cable to connect with the beamer. In case you cannot connect with an HDMI cable, bring your own adapter.

There will be microphones, but no laser pointer. Please bring your own laser pointer or borrow one from another speaker in the session.

Session chairs, speaker, and technical support (mainly students of the IPF) should be in the room 10 minutes before the start of the session and check whether the connection works and all speakers are around. If the chair is missing, two speakers should share chairing the session. If your session follows a plenary morning talk, please meet 15 minutes ahead of the plenary talk to be ready to start your session right after the plenary talk.

Contributed talks: 17 minutes + 3 minutes questions.

Invited talks: 25 minutes + 5 minutes questions.

Plenary talks: 33 minutes + 7 minutes questions.

 

Poster

Format of poster walls: ~120x150 (WxH)

Preferred poster format is A0 portrait.

Posters with numbers 1-28 will be presented in the hallway 1st floor;  Posters with numbers > 29 will be presented in back of the large hall.

Please use the morning coffee break to place your poster for the evening session.
